Review: Skinfood Mushroom Multi Care BB Cream

Product Description:
This BB Cream is made by Skinfood and has Triple Function such as: Whitening, Anti-Aging, and Sun Block. BB Creams are used as a  skincare and cosmetic product (foundation). It is  known for it's skincare benefits, one of which is healing damaged and scared skin.

This BB Cream comes in 2 shades. (#1-Radiant Skin  and #2-Natural Skin. This foundation/skincare promises natural looking skin with anti-aging benefits.  This is made in Korea.

Where I purchased it: Ebay

Price: $14.99 (may vary)

Product Size: 1.7oz or  50g

I love the packing. It has a very green and natural look to it. It comes in a beige plastic tube with a brown earthy paper label and cover cap.  The product is easily dispensed and the packaging makes it sanitary to use.

Product Review:
BB Cream is the rave in Asia and I can see why. I have been trying a few BB Creams and as of now, this has got to be a favorite one. I got the shade #2 in Natural Skin from Skinfood.  The consistency of this product is not too thick or runny, it is just perfect. It is so easy to apply. It just glides on my skin with ease and smoothness. This BB Cream has  light to medium coverage.   The product doesn't feel heavy at all, it acually doesn't feel like I am wearing anything on my skin. It has a very natural look and evens out my skin tone perfectly. It also gives me a slight glow to my complexion.  It brightens and lightens my skin a bit when applied.

It is pretty long wearing. The product dries pretty quickly and doesn't leave a sticky tacky feeling on my skin.  I have combination skin and this BB Cream didn't make me oily. Thankfully it didn't break me out either.  This matches my skin more in the winter.

I love the smell of this product, it smells like fresh cut grass or watermelon rind.

How I apply it:
I put a dime size amount on my fingers and rubber it together to warm the product. Then a pat the product on my face and spread it throughout my skin.

Would I repurchase?
Yes, most definitely. I love this product. It is easy to blend on my skin. It feels light and gives a natural look, brightening my complexion.

5 out of 5

Review & Rave: Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush ( 40-Soft Plum )

Product Description:
This blush is a Air-whipped mousse that has gives a natural and radiant look with long wear.
Product made in the USA.

Where I purchased it: Target

Price: $5.94 (price may vary at different locations)

Product Size: .20 oz  or 5.75 grams

This blush comes in a very sturdy glass jar and has a twist plastic lid.  The jar keeps the product very moist and the lid is easy to open and close. The jar has some weight to it, but not cumbersome.

Product Review:
This cream blush is a mousse, so it has a air whipped consistency. The blush is so soft and light to the touch. It is so bendable, buildable, and feels light on my skin. The product makes it easy for me to  create a natural flush look or build it up for a more darker, dramatic look. I  want. It has a little glittery shimmer in it, but it gives a natural glow to my skin.  This blush looks very natural and lasts quite a while.  You don't need to use a lot of this product during application, a little goes a long way.

I got the shade 40 - soft plum. It is a plum pink with some golden glitter in it.

How I apply it:
I  dab my middle finger in the product, just getting a little amount, place it on my cheeks and blend it on my cheekbones towards my temple.

Review & Rave: Burt Bee's Hand Salve

Product Description:
A multi-purpose  hand salve made with botanical oils, herbs and beeswax, to help
combat dry hands, feet, elbows, and other areas if needed. This product is not tested on animals and is 100% certified natural.

Where I purchased it:
I got this at Rite Aid. But I think it is readily available at other drugstores, groceries, target, and other shops.  I got the large size, but this also comes in a mini travel size.

Price: $8.99

Product Size:
3 oz, 85 grams

The salve comes in a round metal tin can. It is very sturdy not too heavy and not too cumbersome. It keeps the product fresh and protects it from drying.  The lid easy twist off for easy usage.

Product Review:
I love this product. For me this is the best hand moisturizer. I get really dry and scaly hands, especially in the winter. I also get the pesky hang nails and my nails are more susceptible to cracking in colder weather.

I wear this at night because it is pretty oily. It takes a couple of minutes until the product absorbs into my skin, but it works really well once it does.

How I apply it:
I take a quarter size amount of the salve, place it on the back of my hand and spread it through. I also massage it onto my nails and cuticle area.

prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, cera alba (beeswax, cire d'abeille), helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, lavandin hybrida (lavandin) oil, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf oil, eucalyptus globulus (eucalyptus) oil, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower extract, tocopherol, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, glycine soja (soybean) oil, canola oil (huile de colza), linalool, limonene.

Would I repurchase?
Yes, most definitely.  In my opinion this is a must have product.  It does a great job combating overly dry and chapped skin. It also moisturizers your skin for a long time.

This is my second Salve purchase, and this is after 3 weeks of usage.

Review: Tokidoki Headphones by Skullcandy, Tokidoki Mirror - Kabuki, & Tokidoki Tote

I am loving my recently  Tokidoki items( Headphones, Mirror, and Tote purchased last month. I fell in love with all of the Tokidoki art and characters the first time I saw them a couple of years ago. The first thing a ever bought from them are my precious cactus love vinyl pet dolls.   Polpettina & Bastardino! (featured below) :O)
Tokidoki is designed by Simone Legno an Italian artist whose super cute kawaii illustrations are inspired by Japanese culture (anime and manga). The word Tokidoki means "somtimes" in Japanese. Tokidoki was founded in 2005 by Legno and his two partners: Pooneh Mohajer Arnold and Ivan Arnold.  Click here to see their website.

I bought the Headphones made by Skullcandy from Marshals for $14.99.
The case makes it really convenient to carry the headphones with no tangles. The cord is made of a cotton rope material, really sturdy.  I  recently used these while traveling. The headphones are comfortable and works great. I can fit 2 headphones in the case, which is awesome. The case is super cute and I really like that is it made of vinyl for easy cleaning. (just wipe it off)

Comes with headphone, case, and extra accessories.

Has sturdy cotton cord material headphone wire.

Super Kawaii Design with great sturdy smooth working zipper.

Great roomy space, can fit 2 headphones in it

And I got the Tokodoki mirror: Kabuki, from Sephora. I used my  Beauty Insider gift card to purchase it minus the difference.

This Retails for $25, but I got it for $10.  The compact mirror and the packaging is really pretty. There is a regular and close up mirror. It opens flat and has some weight to it, but I am not using this as a travel mirror, it is just going to be on my makeup table. I love it, it is soooo Kawaii!

Back Mirror Compact with Super Cute Logo carved onto the metal compact.

2 Mirrors. I regular and magnified one. Opens flat.

And got a free Tokidoki Tote at Sephora using the code: tokienvy. I am not sure when this code expires. But I used it on Jan 6, 2011 and it worked.

The tote is made of a vinyl material. From my first impression it seems pretty sturdy and nice. I love all the designs on it, wicked cute. ehehh and my favorite Bastardino is on the front tote!
